The Ecosystem Services Partnership is organising its 7th International conference this time in Costa Rica from 8-12 September 2014 with lots of interesting sessions. The emphasis of this Seventh international ESP conference will be on the use of the ecosystem services concept at the local level, focussing on Latin America with a special emphasis on Costa Rica. Several EU-funded projects will present their results on Community Based Ecosystem Management: CiVi.Net, COBRA, EcoADAPT and COMETLA. Several field trips will provide the opportunity to observe and discuss the application of ecosystem services in practice.
IUCN-CEM is quite strongly involved.
