For the last three years PARKS has been a peer reviewed journal published by IUCN WCPA twice a year. It is the only journal focussed specifically on protected area management and policy.
Issue 20.2 has just been released. As ever it has a wide variety of papers and authors, including a Noble Laureate and several protected area agency directors as well as the usual mix of seasoned and new authors. If you are attending the World Parks Congress please come and say hello. PARKS will be on display at the IUCN bookstore and there is a short ‘meet the editors’ session in the Protected Planet Pavilion on Saturday, November 15th, 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm.

The editors are Sue Stolton and Nigel Dudley of Equilibrium Research and who are also involved in several chapters of IUCN WCPA’s E-Book of Protected Area Governance and Management, due to be formally launched at the World Parks Congress.
