The PARKS Journal or the International Journal of Protected Areas and Conservation is published by IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) is published twice a year as an online, open-access and peer reviewed journal. The latest version of the journal has a variety of interesting articles, e.g. an editorial on ‘Protected areas as natural solutions to climate change’, an article on Iceland’s protected areas: taking stock and looking ahead, one on nature-based tourism trends in Japan’s national parks.
