The latest issue of PARKS (the International Journal of Protected Areas and Conservation) has just been released and can be downloaded here.
This issue of PARKS offers a perspective on the role of Biosphere Reserves in helping to meet the Sustainable Development Goals, a decision support tool for better resource allocation for threatened species, a paper on the values of protected areas (PAs) in the Dinaric Arc in Europe one on the practical implementation of innovative financial mechanisms to support PAs in Africa.
This issue also addresses advances in private protected areas, the diversity of governance models is Belize, and the potential to use participatory scenario planning to envisage options for PAs to address the challenges presented by climate and land use change.
