It’s time to start thinking about contributing to the next issue of ‘Culture for Nature’ – the CSVPA newsletter. Please send in contributions by the 20th of October 2019 to radhika.borde@gmail.com. Please also send pictures accompanying your contributions.
Additionally, please spread the word about this call for contributions to friends and colleagues beyond CSVPA, who may be interested in contributing, and who may have valuable and relevant things to share.
Pieces related to nature and culture/ spirituality/ religion are very welcome. We want to specify that culture could refer to contemporary culture as well as to traditions, customary practices etc. – contributions should discuss how these relate to nature conservation, and include a reference to the protection of nature within areas set aside for this purpose.
The three formats for contributing are as follows:
VIEWS: Up to 700 word opinion pieces or essays that take up an issue relevant to the mandate of CSVPA and discuss it at some length.
UPDATES: Up to 300 word contributions that disseminate information on the work you are doing and the projects you are currently involved with.
NEWS & EVENTS: Short pieces – up to 150 words – giving information on conferences, new publications, new opportunities, calls for contributions to journal issues/edited volumes, policy developments and changes – relevant news of any kind.
We hope many of you will consider contributing, and we wish those of you who do lots of fun with the writing.
