Learning for Nature is an e-learning programme brought to you by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). They now also offer a (free) course on ‘Protected Areas and Sustainable Development’. “Protected areas are the largest deliberate land use in the world; they are found in virtually every country and on every continent. Although protected areas focus on nature conservation, most also supply a range of ecosystem services with social, cultural, and economic benefits that are essential to sustainable development.”. CSVPA involved people may be aware of this knowledge. This course may be useful to share with others, and engage with the relevance of cultural and spiritual values of protected areas.
