The 8th World Conference of the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) will be held in South Africa, 9-13 November 2015. In addition to many sessions organised by the ESP working groups on a wide range of topics, the conference will focus on the use of ecosystem services “for Nature, People and Prosperity”, including the role in Conservation, Livelihoods and Business. The conference will pay special attention to the public and private sector dialogue on how the ecosystem services concept can be used to support conservation, improve livelihoods and engage the business community.
The Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) is a worldwide network, founded in 2008, to enhance the science and practical application of ecosystem services. To facilitate the needed dialogue between scientists, policy makers and practitioners ESP organises an annual international conference in different parts of the world.
The conference will be held at Spier Conference Centre & Wine Farm near Cape Town.
If you are quick, you can submit a session (until 1 April ’15: why not propose one on CSVPA?); or submit a proposal for any of the selected sessions (between 15 April – 15 June)
