the book launch featured opening statements by editors Bas Verschuuren and Naoya Furuta as well as Masaya Futamiya of the Keidanren Committe, who sponsored the formation of the book. the session hosted “speed presentations” to introduce the audience to the diversity of Asian sacred natural sites, with speakers including Alison Ormsby and Wendy Jackson, Fikret Berkes, and Jonathan Liljeblad. the session provided a brief question-and-answer session for audience members, who were able to inquire into details about the case studies posed by the speakers and look at a publisher’s sample copy.
